You ask what engineering is.....when your car smokes, or makes a noise in the engine bay, or an odd smell comes into the car, then you will eventually need to come see us.

Your mechanic or yourself will strip your engine. You will then have your engine which will then be disassembled which will consist of the cylinder head, the block, the crankshaft and the conrods and pistons, that is where we can help you.

we do slimming of cylinder heads, refacing of valves and valve seats, fitting of new valve stem seals, pressure testing of the head, and skimming the surface of the heads, this is called an overhaul. We also do welding with steel/cast iron/aluminium welding on heads and blocks.

We do re-boring of the block which machines it to the next size bore so the pistons fit, or we hone it to the same size of the current pistons if the is a small amount of wear in the bores.We complete this engineering using the best machinery and tools to the job is done perfectly. We also do resleeving of the block where new sleeves are supplies and bore then to standard size or the next size needed.

If your crankshaft needs to be polished or ground to the next size or specialist can do so with ease, to do so he grinds the mains and big-end journals.

If your pistons need to be changed to the next size we do press fitting of new pistons, where some conrods need to have new small-end bushes in order for the pistons to be fitted. We also do resizing of the conrods so that the size of the rod fits the big-end journals.
