Rawson Properties George and Knysna were established in 2004 by Peter & Lenie Southey. They were one of the first franchise holders in the Rawson Property Group and still manage the Rawson office in Knysna.

The factors that lure many people to George such as quality of living, good schools and municipal infrastructure, and low crime rates led to the current owners changing their lives and relocating to George.

Stephen and Mariaan Lubbe purchased the Rawson George franchise in May 2010. They were familiar with the Rawson brand as Mariaan was one of the group's Top Sales Partners in Gauteng prior to the move and they were attracted by the Rawson vision to be the most trusted property brand in South Africa.

To achieve this vision they have built a superb team of well-trained sales and rental agents passionate about delighting their customers.
