Quoin Rock Wines

The name "Quoin Rock" found its inspiration from the Agulhas area, the most southern tip of Africa, where Quoin Point is the second most southerly point. The Quoin Rock Winery in Stellenbosch honours some of the early trading ships that sunk while trying to navigate the southern tip of Africa, by naming some of the wine after known wrecks off Quoin Point, while utilizing the Agulhas property for conservation. Bontebok, Springbok and Eland are some of the Antelope that have been reintroduced to this area.

The winery will focus on producing high quality wines, attracting guests to a new state-of-the-art tasting centre, functions venue and guesthouse. Renovations are due for completion by end 2017 and guests will be able to experience the remarkable make-over as from 2018. Beautifully made 2015 red wines and lovely fruit-expressive 2017 white wines will be available for our guests. Yes, even the ever-popular Vine Dried Sauvignon Blanc (sweet) and MCC will be available again.
