We at Prestige Baby/Kidz Academy offer an exclusive and up-market premier 5-star Baby Academy and Pre-school which strives to keep ahead of the rest. Our children are our main focus and our school is based on a holistic approach.

School Philosophy:
We are very proud in the fact that each of our children are looked after and treated as unique little individuals, each with their own needs and personalities.

We ensure that positive encouragement, love and support are handed out in abundance, to ensure that our children love their school and that a good solid foundation is built up for them from an early age, which will carry them through to "Big School" and later on to adulthood.

All of our staff is trained with life skills’ training that is incorporated into our daily programs and curriculum. We teach our staff to be observant and to be able to pick up if a child is not themselves or if something is bothering them, and to find a solution.

We incorporate into our everyday teachings:
Positive Thinking and to never give up, how to interact with peers and to have Love and Respect for family and friends, how to Problem Solve and how to Handle Various Situations, to be Responsible for your actions, to improve Listening and Communication Skills etc.

All of the above builds a well-rounded, happy and confident child who will be prepared for whatever lies ahead of them!

We offer the following Services at Prestige Baby Academy – Palm Lakes:

- A Baby Academy that offers premier exclusive 5-star facilities, care and services for babies aged 3 months – 4 years. (Half & Full Day Options are available)

- A fun nurturing, loving and healthy environment with many extra benefits:

- Exclusive Surveillance Camera System. Parents can view their child any time of the day to give you total peace of mind.

- Extensively trained and uniformed staff who always put the children’s needs first

- Small classes of not more than 10-19 (Depending on age group) for individual personal attention

- Each class follows a set daily class program to ensure all age appropriate developmental skills and stages are reached.

- Babies get a daily Baby Massage

- Babies get daily Baby Gym

- Menus are planned by a Dietitian and Chef to ensure well balanced nutritious meals are served. Low sodium, low salt, high fibre diet is followed and menu includes a Morning Snack, Cooked Lunch and Afternoon Snack. Babies’ purity is made from the freshest healthiest ingredients and is made for small sensitive tummies.

- Most toiletries are included in the monthly fee (Nappy cream, Tissues, Aqueous Cream, Vaseline, Sunblock.) excludes 2 packs of wet wipes a month, nappies, formula etc.

- A wide variety of unique stimulating and age appropriate, educational toys, games, equipment and activities are used. Play time includes: Sensory Development, Mid-line crossing, Fine and Gross Motor skills, story-telling, activity songs, puppet shows, fantasy dress-up, parachute etc.

- Advanced development programs: for social, emotional, intellectual & physical development, language enrichment, motor development, memory techniques etc.

- Our Life Skills Weekly themes teach and instill in our children important life lessons including: motivation, problem solving, friendship skills, stress management, anger management, communication skills etc.

- The “Alive” policy includes: flowers, fish, tortoise and or rabbit.

- The schools use Eco-friendly Bio-degradable cleaning products wherever possible.

- All materials, paint etc. used on our school premises are child friendly.

- Safe, sturdy cots for our Baby Care Class and custom made bed linen for our older full day children that still need a nap including: mattress, fitted sheet, duvet or blanket, pillow, pillow case.

- Parent’s interactive support system. Daily feedback on your child in your Parent Handbook, Parent Support Network, Quarterly Observation & Progress Reports, Parents Socials, Class Rings etc.

- Additional products and services available: Baby-sitting, House-sitting, Party venue etc.

Operating hours and school fees:
Full Day is from 07h00 – 17h00pm @ R2790.00 p.m
Half Day is from 07h00 - 12:30pm @ R2290.00 p.m

Morning Drop-Off Time is between 7am and 8:15am
Half Day Pick-Up Time is between 11:30 and 12:30am
Full Day Pick-Up Times is between 4pm and 5pm

Included in fees:
Full Day: Morning Snack, Cooked Lunch, Afternoon Snack, Juice/Water/Rooibos Tea, Toiletries including: Tissues, Toilet Paper, Nappy Crème, Aqueous Cream, Vaseline, Stationery, Arts and Crafts

Half Day: Morning snack, Cooked Lunch, Juice/Water/Rooibos Tea, Tissues, Toilet Paper, Toiletries including: Nappy Crème, Aqueous Cream, Vaseline, Stationery, Arts and Crafts

Excluded in fees: 2 x large packs of wet wipes per month is compulsory for everyone as we do not use face clothes due to hygienic reasons.
Any nappies, formula or other products or items not supplied by the school

Classes:
Baby Care Class: Ages 3 months – 12 months (10-12 per class)
Tiny Tots Class: Ages 12 months – 24 months (10-15 per class)
Busy Beez Class: Ages 2 years – 3 1/2 years (15 per class)
