We live in LOVE RELATIONSHIPS towards each other and fellowship regularly like the early church in Acts 2.

Powerhouse is an AIRCRAFT CARRIER in God’s Kingdom waters! Everybody enjoys to BE INVOLVED on this end-time warship: Some are flying out to carry out a mission. Others are watching the radar, preparing the food or tending to the engine room. WE ARE ALL PART OF GOD’S END-TIME ARMY!

WHY THE NAME POWERHOUSE? powerhouse

The name was part of a Blueprint that God gave to this ministry. Therefore it carries authority in the spiritual realm. The two components of this name (Power + House) help us to understand what God meant when He gave this name.

POWER! Jesus promised His followers power to be His witnesses. Acts 1:8 You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth.

The word for power here is the Greek word dunamis, meaning miracle working power!

HOUSE: In the beginning of the New Testament church, people primarily gathered in houses. Acts 2:46 And continuing with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they shared food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. Rom 16:5 Likewise, greet the church that is in their house.

The two main gatherings of believers in Powerhouse, are the CELEBRATIONS on Sundays and the POWERHOUSES gather during the week in houses.

POWERHOUSES (HOUSE CHURCHES):
This combination of POWER and HOUSE in POWERHOUSE, gives you the picture of a church regularly gathering in houses. But this is no ordinary church.

It is a gathering where the miracle working power of God is always present. And because of the Kingdom principle of growth, multiplication of house churches will always take place. Kingdom people who carry the mighty power of God within them, will be changing the atmosphere of every house they enter. (Acts 2:47).


WHAT HAPPENS IN MEETINGS?

We EXPERIENCE THE PRESENCE of God in a special way … and we are constantly being changed by the mighty Power of God.
While SHARING FROM THE WORD, the Bible comes alive in our midst & we hear God's voice clearly.
Our fellowship means to learn to know, appreciate and LOVE EACH OTHER as family.
The GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT flows freely and we see people healed, experiencing answers on prayer and miracles happening among us!
People are formed under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to be DISCIPLES of Jesus to take the message of joy and salvation to their friends, colleagues and families.
Our dream is a Powerhouse within reach of every person! Powerhouses all over the world!

CELEBRATIONS:

Prayer
At our weekly CELEBRATIONS on Sunday mornings and Sunday evenings all the Powerhouses in a region or city gather to celebrate and worship our King! To experience His Presence in such a tangible way, makes this wonderful re-fueling events every week!

For approximately 1½ hours we enjoy lively and passionate Praise and Worship; the Now Word of God; Gifts of the Spirit operating; Fellowship; etc. After the meeting there are at least 30 minutes of informal fellowship and refreshments.

Sometimes Celebrations are in the form of m-eatings! People bring along something to eat & drink and we put everything on the table. Then we all partake of a love-meal, while we mingle and have fellowship with each other.

Everything takes place in a festive atmosphere and God is glorified!
