Pet Au Pair

Pet Au Pair is run by Carmen Ackerman who is a dedicated mum to 4 pooches herself and she highly regards all animals as sentient beings.

She has gained a wealth of experience having worked as an Animal Welfare Assistant at a welfare organisation and currently still employed as a receptionist at a very popular vet practice in the Helderberg, where she works half-day shifts.

Carmen has first-hand knowledge of the operation of all local vet practices and will know how to react effectively in case of crises.

During her stay, the care of your animals and home will be her first priority. She will also be the sole person residing at your property.

She has vast experience administering medication and understands the importance of adhering to treatment protocols and food portion control.

Ultimately, your pet’s comfort is of utmost importance during her stay, and will she diligently follow normal routine (walkies, favourite treats, grooming, if pet is used to cuddling with a human at night, etc).

She looks forward to being your pet’s buddy during your absence and will treasure your trust living in your home.
