Peppertree House B&B and Self-Catering

Pieter and Laetitia welcome you to Peppertree House, which is located in the historic town of Fort Beaufort and named after a majestic old pepper tree which once served to provide shade for visitors' horses.

We offer our guests comfortable accommodation in tranquil surroundings. We provide excellent service and warm hospitality to make your stay as pleasant and memorable as possible.

Peppertree House offers both bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation in a Victorian style home and five tastefully furnished self-catering units.

Accommodation in the main house consists of three en-suite rooms. Each of these rooms has a warm atmosphere and homely feel. They are beautifully furnished with golden wooden floors, a place which promises a comfortable nights stay.

The five self-catering units are no less impressive than the rooms in the main house. Three of the units sleep two persons, another of the units is a double story sleeping 4 persons and the last is a twin bed unit with sleeper couch. Each of the units is en-suite with a kitchenette equipped with all you need to cook a tasty meal.

All the units are cosy during winter and cool during summer. They ensure a comfortable stay no matter if your visit is simply one day or if it is a couple of days.

We have conferencing facilities for up to 20 delegates. We also cater for functions and weddings.

The entrance to the property is by controlled motor-gate for our guests' peace of mind. There is a scenic and spacious garden with rolling lawns, tall trees and interesting fountains.

Facilities include a crisp blue swimming pool, a sheltered barbeque area, and secure parking. Guests may request a full English breakfast or health breakfast, with dinners and lunch packs available on request.
