Olifantskop Cottage

Olifantskop Cottage is situated 6 km outside Wellington in the heart of the Winelands. This wine farm is surrounded with exquisite views across the Boland mountains and vineyards. The cottage used to be horse stables that have been converted into this charming cottage with oak trees and two dams surrounding it.

The unit offer guests two spacious bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with two single beds; big living room with dining table; a fully equipped kitchen (2-plate gas stove and microwave); a bathroom with shower as well as a bath; air conditioning and braai facilities. Linen and towels provided.

The self-catering unit is about 20 minutes drive from Paarl, 35 minutes from Franschhoek, 50 minutes from Cape Town and 20 minutes away from the scenic Riebeeck Valley! It is situated in the greater Groenberg area, about 6 km north of the center of town.

Here you can drink spring water from the tap, enjoy a walk on the farm, go mountain-biking, fishing (tag and release) or just enjoy the tranquility of the farm having a glass of wine on the deck watching the sunset. The front views reaching all the way to Table Mountain. The owls breed here every year and at sunset you'll see them hunting around. You can go for wine tasting in and around Wellington where you can visit between 30 wineries as well as 5 brandy producers.

It is the perfect escape to unwind, relax and enjoy the beauty of the Boland Winelands.
