No. 6 on Church is a cottage that was built in the mid-1800s, and in 2015 it was completely renovated to its current form as a self-catering unit. Where possible, the original woodwork was retained, giving rise to clean-cut modern accommodation with an old Karoo flavour. The cottage operates as a single unit (you won't share other people), and accommodates 1 to 5 guests. Larger groups can be accommodated if you don't mind being a bit cramped!
The cottage has three bedrooms: the main bedroom has a double bed, while the twin bedroom has one single and one three-quarter bed, and the single bedroom has one three-quarter bed. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom (shower and bath), while the other two bedrooms share the second bathroom (shower only). Each bathroom has its own geyser, ensuring hot water for all.
The comfortable living-room seats five and has a 49" TV and a 6-place table for meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of storage space for groceries, and has a fridge, microwave and a gas stove with an oven (perfect for load-shedding times!).
Off the kitchen is the newly-built stoep (veranda) which has a built-in braai (barbecue). The garden is fully fenced, and guests are welcome to bring their pets (but please confirm first). The cottage has a remote-control alarm system for guests' peace of mind.
