To me everyone is an individual who needs to be treated according to his/her own abilities and circumstances. No two applicants are alike. At my school young adults get more than just a license; they learn from their mistakes and get dignity and self respect along with confidence in themselves and their abilities. I have a school of life where there is no need to be nervous. Before I take on a new applicant, I evaluate him/her on a test report. During the following sessions I continue with the evaluations so by the time of the actual test date, the applicant is quite used to being stared at. By doing this, the fear of the unknown is less and the applicant is sure of what is expected of him/her. And that is clear from my pass rate… I also have my own test paper for learner's license and a unique way of explaining situations to ensure my student understands. Safe driving starts with knowing the rules of the road and applicable road signs. There are no short cuts.
