I have gained experience working and volunteering at a variety of centers such as The Star Academy for children with Autism, The Teddy Bear Clinic, Childline and Epworth Children's Village.

I am particularly interested in Solution Focused therapy methods as a more directive approach and am trained in Psychoanalytic techniques through the University of the Witwatersrand. In providing an additional support base for parents and teachers, I conduct workshops on dealing with children's difficult behaviours, providing additional information around learning difficulties and strategies that may aid in learning, reporting child abuse and so forth.

Workshops catering to adolescents include: study skills, teenage pregnancy, risky sexual behaviours, substance abuse, subject choices, career guidance and so forth.
