A Personal Journey:

“Inspirational and exciting!!
Natural Origins was envisioned and inspired from an idea that came to life after I was exploring options to strengthen the immune system in a natural way to provide my two young children with the best kick start in life. I was exploring supplementation options and my attention was immediately drawn to the importance of vitamin C. It became obvious that this is one of the most vital natural vitamins, that most people are deficient in, that needs to be included into the diet in sufficient quantities to provide for optimal health. I was familiar with the ‘common’ vitamin C products on the market, but I was not convinced that it works well in favour of the body over time due to a lack of results experienced in my own life. As a health conscious mother, I wanted to remain objective and I researched synthetic as well as natural vitamin C. I soon found that there were some other real concerns with synthetic vitamins. It was clear that a strong immune system is not established through synthetic supplements. The foundation of good health starts with the type and quality of the foods and nutrition we consume. I also learned that irrespective of what you put into your body, what matters most is the quality, and if it is absorbed and utilised properly. I feel strong about wanting the best for my family. Because the quality of modern food sources is generally questionable, I was on a quest for an effective, concentrated, natural, food source, plant based vitamin C supplement that could complement our diet, support our health and assist us effectively during times of illness.

Who would have thought that a lush, exotic tropical fruit would hold the secret of what I was looking for and could be so functional in one’s diet?
I learned about the potent natural vitamin C of the freeze dried organic Acerola berry, when sourced and preserved properly, its excellent vitamin C concentration, bio-availability within the human body and its comparison to synthetic ascorbic acid.
In support of this exciting information, and because diet is my main focus for optimal health, I also read up on the works and studies of highly acclaimed doctors, authors and activists on whole food nutrition, but especially food source vitamin C advocates, respected and honoured as some of the few true healers of this time and age. The picture unfolded and the importance and efficacy of this natural plant source vitamin C became clear. I became really passionate about all the positive attributes of Acerola. After researching through immense amounts of information and gaining much knowledge, the idea of synthetic supplements, but particularly synthetic vitamin C supplements for myself and my family for health support in the long term just no longer appealed to me.

And so it was the beginning of a natural vitamin C expedition! A personal journey at first, ultimately became so exciting that I not only had to share it with others, but I also had to pursue it as a business. And not just any business, but a company focusing on optimal quality products that originate directly from nature as it is intended by nature itself.
