We have had the rare and marvelous privilege of seeing the sun rise and set over Namaqua. Flower season in Namaqua is a breathtakingly beautiful phenomenon and indeed one of the most spectacular floral kingdoms in the world.
Chiefs Luxury Mobile Tented Camp are thrilled to announce that bookings for their hugely popular Namaqua Flowers Beach Camp, located one kilometre north of the Groenrivier entrance to the National Park, are now open. Now in its seventh year, guests can once again experience the luxury and convenience of an elegant private mobile tented camp, right on the beach, under skies that seem to stretch as far as the eye can see. A retreat quite unlike any other, the Chiefs team go out of way to ensure that your stay is memorable. Twelve luxury dome tents are equipped with beds, soft comfortable duvets, hot blankets and electric lights to ensure that you wake up refreshed and completely rejuvenated. Furthermore you can enjoy the privacy and convenience of your own hot shower and spacious dressing room and a chemical flush toilet. Renowned for their delicious West Coast fare, sea breezes combine with the aromas of bacon and eggs, jam packed delicious and wholesome picnic baskets are enjoyed in the flowers or on the beaches, and sundowners on a panoramic coastal stage, are a pre cursor to dining in elegant style. After a superb evening around a dinner table guests can then enjoy a nightcap in the lounge before retiring to the chorus of the ocean. Guests will awake to tea and coffee served right outside their tents as they laze dreamily at the start of the day.
Guests can also experience nature’s confetti in a spectacular fashion at the Namaqua Flowers Skilpad Camp, which will be located in the magnificent Skilpad area. Now in its fourth year visitors to this fabulously colorful landscape don’t need to hurry – they can enjoy magnificent walks, cycles and picnics at leisure among the flowers. In true Chiefs style, guests will be accommodated in 20 fully serviced dome tents, with beds, soft comfortable duvets, LED lights, private showers and chemical flush toilets. Early morning tea, coffee and rusks, delicious full English breakfasts and 2 course dinners, will be served in the Daisy Lounge where a Cash Bar will also available.

Normal entry fees, terms and conditions as required by Namaqua National Park will apply, and must be paid at the park gate prior to entry.
