Who We Are
--
We are a family business who design and make most of the products on this website ourselves. Because we started off making products in our own home using Scandinavian design as our inspiration, we have learned how to design decor items that are functional in the modern home and we still keep this in mind when coming up with new product designs.

How It Started
--
In 2013, our family bought an old house in Somerset West, moved from PE to the Cape – selling most of our furniture in the process. Our plan was to renovate and furnish our whole home in the Scandinavian style, but since we could not find all the items we were looking for, we took matters into our own hands and designed our own decor. Soon after, we decided to sell our creations online and we have been coming up with new product designs ever since. To this day, we still use our own home for all of the styling and photography on this website.

Our products are individually made by hand. Our processes involve hand-printing, basket weaving and hand-dyeing to name just a few. We only make use of local suppliers for our products and raw materials, thereby supporting local small businesses in the process.
