Molefi Senior Secondary School

Molefi Senior Secondary School was founded in 1964 and is named after Kgosi Molefi, a Bakgatla Chief who ruled from 1929 to 1958. The school is located in the village of Mochudi, the capital of Kgatleng District.

The School draws its student intake from all corners of the country. However, since it is the only senior school in the district, priority is given to succssful students from the community junior schools within Kgatleng, namely Artesia, Bakgatla, Borwa, Ithuteng, Kgamanyane, Linchwe, Oodima, Radikolo, Sedibelo, and a few private schools. At times it also caters for students from as far as Lentsweletau. The school is largely a day institution with less than half the students boarding. Hostels accommodation is limited and our boarding facilities are offered primarily to those living outside the village.
