For the more adventurous, a climb to the top of the cliff which stands guard to the right of the Mitford Hotel, affords the most breathtaking views of the coast and fills one with a sense of being at one with the beauty of nature's unselfish gifts.

A mere 4kms away from the Mitford, Double-Mouth presents itself in all it's splendour to both fisherman and tourists alike. Situated at the mouth of a stunning estuary, it is known for its quiet serenity and peaceful beauty.

A short stroll to the left of the Mitford, will find you strolling along a stunning stretch of sandy beach, where the mischievous waves beckon you frolic playfully with them in the refreshing embrace of their watery arms.

Horse-riding trails along the beach and up onto the cliffs are offered and provide a unique way of exploring all the beauty on offer.
