Gateway to the Garden Route in South Africa, nestled off Route 62, bordering the famous Tsitsikamma National Park, is Misty Mountain Reserve. Nestled 230m above the rugged coastline, offering breath-taking views of the Indian Ocean, Tsitsikamma Mountains and indigenous forest.

The Khoisan, early inhabitants of the area, named the Tsitsikamma “the place of many waters” after the natural waterfalls. Steeped in history, from age old towns with carved out elephant poaching and trade routes, was the start of the N2.
