Ike Makiwa received the vision for Mission to the World Ministries in 2002. He held the church’s first worship service in Gaborone at his residential flat with only eight people in attendance. Over the years, the ministry grew rapidly, and moved from strength to strength and is still growing. The congregation moved from his flat to a leased empty plot in Mogoditshane where a small structure was erected for church meetings. In 2006 the church bought a plot in Mogoditshane where worship services are currently held every week. The Church currently has one strong branch in Palapye.
