Mash Records

Mash Records is an Independent & Management Record Label that has full potential in empowering up and coming individual or group of artists. The Label is more focused on nurturing Talent and want to create a milestone in 15 years to come to be considered a Major Label by signing major artists and as well as upcoming artists international. The label will have two divisions mainly are Music Production and Artist Management.


Vision

· To exist for the next century within the years, create and maintain musicians within our label and Management. We will use new edge technologies such as Online Social Networking (Facebook, Twitter & Instagram) and Music services (iTunes, Spotify, Pandora, Deezer and Sound Cloud) available today in the music industry in order to take South African Music to greater paths by competing with world renowned Countries such as United States of America, Canada and United Kingdom who have played a major role in Music Production.

Mission

· We plan to produce music that will be able to be listened by the next generation. We want to promote our music to all the continents, as we are to produce nothing less than quality but music for the ears and soul.

· Our Artist Management division will concentrate on Artistic development within the Music Industry as we will use creative ways such as Online Presence and our networking services to promote artists signed to our label, we will work hard as to provide income for our company in order to branch out to Recording artists.

· We will consistently strive to be profitable by producing and distributing extremely high quality recorded music products which will be delivered in the form of CD's, DVDs, Video and Internet downloads.

· We plan to generate additional revenue through the 360¤ Recording deal from the sale of related merchandise such as T-shirts, Sweaters, wristbands, Publishing rights; advertising on Music videos and Performance fees gained our from Artists.

· As an independent record label we will have the advantage of owning and controlling all the rights to our music including copyrights and related licenses of our product. Artists will only be obliged to sign an exclusive deal which entails that artists will only make Music for Mash Records.

Objectives

· Our main goal as an Artist management and record label is to promote and uplift the up and coming artists that are not given a chance to showcase their talent.
We want to create Artists that will not be perceived as one hit wonders. Our main Objective is for our artists to exist for more than a decade and their Music to play a significant role in people's lives

Company Background

· Founded in February 2017 by Kgotatso Memory Moagi, Simbarashe Garnet Jambaya, William Lungelo Mthombeni and Thabo Nyathi as Mash Records, it is an Independent Record Label that has full focus in Artist Management and Music Production founded by four friends who were driven by the love of Art and Music. The Label fully focuses on nurturing talent by means of signing new vibrant talent that will create a mark in the Music Industry. We ought to sign Artists who are musically gifted to collaborate with us to help them navigate Fan base and Revenue for their Careers.

· ''We don't burn the Road of Success’’ our motto simply defines what Mash Records is about. The Motto refers to a wide range of problems faced by artists signed to record labels such as Not allowed for Input pertaining to their Music and as well.

Ownership

The Label/Management is currently owned by the four co-founders-Kgotatso Memory Moagi, Simbarashe Garnet Jambaya, William Lungelo Mthombeni and Thabo Ngqobizitha Nyathi.
