Through the collective efforts of our multi-disciplinary Scholar Support Unit, managed by a clinical psychologist, and including a: social worker, educational psychologist, registered counsellor, qualified teacher, organisational psychologist and volunteer mentors, we are able to focus on identifying, interviewing, monitoring, mentoring, supporting and encouraging every single individual who is selected to be a MAD Leadership Foundation scholar.
As of 2016, we currently have 137 scholars on our scholarship programme, which is our primary focus. We also support a Broad-based Education Programme, with a further 1,287 children benefitting through the Eco Children programme. Eco Children focuses on whole school development, hands-on environmental education and identifying and providing opportunities for talented learners in the Limpopo and Mpumalanga provinces. We have pledged our support by adopting the development of Eco Villages and improvement of the Eco Classrooms at Seganyane, Matikinya, Mahlathi and Hloaia Primary Schools.
