MACSCool

MACScool is a Refrigeration Spares and Air-conditioning Wholesaler, based in South Africa, with a national footprint of 7 branches; and a dedicated export division. We also supply products and services over boarder into neighbouring states. Our company was established in 1986, and the refrigeration division moved from being a primary Refrigerant Gas Wholesaler, to a competent spares and OEM business in the early 2000’s.

Our business historically was more in the Automotive Air-conditioning spares field, but the refrigeration division has grown dramatically over the past decade on the back of quality product supply, and competitive pricing. We have now split these two divisions into two separate businesses using a common infrastructure.

We have some very well-known brands in our stable; Danfoss, Dorin, HC, Bitzer, Kulthorn etc, and some brands that we are establishing locally like Wincell, Value, Avalanche, Sikelan and quite a few more. We have set up strategic partnerships with leaders in their fields to help us bring value to our customers.

Some years ago we established a manufacturing centre in our Selby offices. They manufacture and assemble a range of condensing units, packs etc. in-house, for distribution to the trade through our branch network. Most of the day to day standard items are available off shelf, so bringing the installation time down to hours, not weeks. Quality is our main driver, with quality components, quality service at a competitive price.
