More about LifeLine Durban

Lifeline Durban exists to facilitate emotional wellness of individuals and communities though skills development and community involvement.

LifeLine Durban is a non-profit, non-government organization that is in existence since 1970. LifeLine Durban exists to facilitate the emotional wellness of individuals and communities. From our early days, we have responded to many “cries for help” resulting from people dealing with fear, hurt and anger. We have shifted towards a community building role that is more proactive and engaging. We recognize that people need to deal with fear, hurt and anger and our aim to mobilize communities towards emotional wellness has not diminished in any way, but we are working so that these same individuals and communities can respond in ways that build sustained emotional health and well-being.

OUR VISION

Working within communities throughout South Africa, in our case the community of eThekwini: to embrace Emotional Wellness, mobilize social change and build a collective community heart with caring and courageous responses to their unique challenges.
