Lifting Equipment Training Services (LETS) is a TETA (Transport of Education and Training Authority) accredited training institution.

Lifting Equipment Training Services (LETS) was established in 2010 to facilitate training in the material handling sector. A variety of skills and knowledge of its individual inspired Lifting Equipment Training Services (LETS) to be born.

Lifting Equipment Training Services (LETS) is proud to be associated with individuals who have years of experience in the material handling industry and is geared to accommodate all training needs.

Boasting with fully accredited course material we are fully equipped to deliver a high standard of quality training. Our mission is to make affordable, professional training and development available to learners thereby making a positive contribution towards skills development and an empowered workforce in South Africa.

As an accredited training institution Lifting Equipment Training Services (LETS) adheres to the codes and conduct specified by TETA, thus ensuring that all students receive top quality training. Being owner operated and supervised means that all training done is of the highest standards and we feel confident to send our successful candidates out into the workforce knowing that they have the skills and knowledge to safely and productively operate lifting machinery.

All our courses are designed and executed according to the standards required by Driven Machinery Regulations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1994 (OHSA). All assessors and moderators are registered and accredited for the relevant unit standards as set out by TETA.

As per the requirements set out by the Transport Education and Training Authority of South Africa, each training assessor can accommodate a maximum of four students per course. The duration of each course is five days.

Our on-site training facility caters for forklift training up to seven tons for both novice students as well as students who wish to renew their current forklift licenses.
