Lavanya Naidoo

Lavanya is a designer, based in South Africa, specialising in paper art and tactile design.

Lavanya was born in Dur­ban and started her career in the design depart­ment of TBWA\Durban in 2009. While working full-time, she rediscovered her love for paper art which started as a hobby and later began taking on commissions for clients like Twinings Tea, JC Le Roux and various publishing houses.

In 2012, she relo­cated to Cape Town, taking on a design posi­tion with Wool­worths inter­nal agency. She later moved over to the adver­tis­ing side working on the Spe­cial Occas­sions and Finan­cial Ser­vices through-the-line port­fo­lios.

Lavanya followed her love for all things tactile and now cre­ates under her own stu­dio full-time.
