Lambertsbaai Mark

The Lambertsbaai Kreeffees 2017 was dealt a heavy blow when the Weskus kreef (Jasus lalandii) was placed on SASSI’S red list from 20 December 2016.
The planning committee supports SASSI’S initiative to discourage consumers from buying and suppliers from selling species on the red list to ensure the sustainability of our beloved kreef. Kreef will accordingly not be available in abundance as in previous years.
This also means that the name of the Fees change to the Lambertsbaai Fees.
Visitors will still be treated to a unique Weskus and Lamberts’ Bay experience set against the backdrop of waves slowly rolling in, breath taking sunsets over the fishing harbour and gannets and seagulls living on Bird Island nearby.
