The Old Aged Home was a dream of churches in the Kraaifontein area. We are located in a sub-economical area where the need to take care of the aged is absolutely essential due to economic reasons.
Our Home opened on 01 September 1997 with the sole purpose to render community service to the aged of all races.
The need for professional services to disabled people were huge, that's why our first residents were from De Novo Kraaifontein recommended by the Department of Social Services.
Our 2nd group of residents cam from Ne Kings, Fishhoek in April 1998 who were also disabled. The Home is on of the first multi-racial organizations in the Western Cape, with a current ratio of 60% Coloured, 20% Black and 20% White residents. The Home has a capacity of 156 beds.
The Home renders a 24 hour professional nursing service and security for the elders.
