Situated in the majestic Waterberg mountain range it is a peaceful break away retreat for people who seek tranquility and enjoy the diversity of nature.This habitat is below the escarpment, at 1,400 to 1,500 metres, and has a great diversity of trees interspersed with open grassland, koppies with loose boulders and rock and many streams and small periodic rivers. Predominant tree species include Wild Seringa, Silver Cluster Leaf, Monkey Orange and Stamvrug. Birdlife include White Helmet Shrike, Black Crowned Tchagra, Yellow-bellied greenbul and much more.

At Kroonvlei wilderness estate you can experience nature at its best. The wild life includes giraffe, eland, kudu, zebra, blue wildbeest, impala, blesbuck, reedbuck, klipspringer, common duiker, steenbuck, bushbuck, monkeys and baboons.

We are situated within 150 kilometres from Pretoria in a malaria-free area.
