Korean Sword Art - Haedong Kumdo

Haedong Kumdo is the traditional art trained in to prepare for real battle and is totally different from Jukdo (Kendo) (Bamboo sword) sport and Guhapdo, which were imported from Japan.

The practitioners of Haedong Kumdo also train using real sword, (Live Blades), which weighs approximately 1,2kg.

The sword techniques are not only one of the most important skills used during battle, but also improve physical strength, endurance, posture, attitude and a noble state of personality.
