The Krantzkloof boasts 200 species of birds, including the Crowned Eagle, the Purple-crested Loerie and the Long-tailed Wagtail (Umvemve). Nearby are many tourist attractions such as the Valley of a Thousand Hills, a Safari Park and excellent beaches.
