DAILY SERVICES FOR THE OWNER
1. Post & news-paper retrieval
2. Adjustment of lights, blinds and curtains
3. Poop pick-up daily before owner returns
4. Perimeter checks & alarm arming
5. Plant watering indoors as required, outdoor on request only
6. Daily exit sms for client peace of mind
7. Tending to general household & pet emergencies, if these occur.

DAILY VISITS (Rates 2016)
Daily pet care & feeding at each visit, including walk & playtime: 45 min sessions.

1-3 visits R95.00 per visit

SLEEP OVER SERVICE
Sleep-over service from 7pm-7am: includes 2x feeds and full pet care such as walking, playtime and nighttime supervision.

1 or 2 nights R 200.00 per night
3 to 5 nights R 190.00 per night
6 to 9 nights R 180.00 per night
10 to 19 nights R 170.00 per night
20 nights or more R 160.00 per night

NOTE: A 3-WAY MEETING BETWEEN PET OWNER, ANIMALS AND MYSELF ARE REQUIRED FIRST TO ESTABLISH COMPATIBILITY.



PREPARING YOUR HOME
• Tell your pet-sitter about any issues around the house, such as slow-draining sinks, doors that have difficulty closing etc.
• Let the pet sitter know about anybody who will be visiting your house while you are gone. I may decline jobs if they are required to share sitting responsibilities or living quarters.
• Make sure gates are locked and yards are secure if you have an outdoor dog.
• Keep dangerous objects and plants out of your pet’s reach, particularly holiday decorations and Christmas trees.
• Cleaning supplies should be easy to access by the pet sitter.
• Provide my name and contact information of your landlord if you are a renter.
• Provide me with your veterinarian’s contact details and address, including emergency veterinarian’s details and an emergency care plan; so your animals can receive prompt medical care in the event of illness or an accident.
• Provide me with next of kin’s details living in Cape Town.
• Turn on outside lights if my first arrival will be after nightfall.

PREPARING YOUR PETS
• Provide an adequate supply of litter, food, treats, toys and other pet necessities.
• Show me where your pet’s carrier and leash are located.
• Share all information about any medicine your pet is currently taking; leave written instructions on how to administer the medication.
• All of your pets should have ID tags on their collars.
• Make sure your outdoor pets have enough shelter and water. Secure their enclosure.

Give me your out-of-town contact information before you leave. As well as another emergency contact in case you are not immediately available to make urgent pet-care decisions.


DOG WALKING
Only your dog or dogs are walked, I call them private walks. Private walks are wonderful for younger dogs as well as elderly dogs that need to take it slow.

It’s well documented that unwanted behaviour in dogs is mostly due to a lack of exercise and stimulation.

I’ll pick up your furry baby or babies from your home and take them on a 45-60 minute walk designed specifically to their needs according to breed, age and health. It could be a walk to the park with a play session or a walk up Table Mountain or in the neighbourhood. I will take care of your pooches exercise needs, when you can’t!
When handling your pup’s private walks I will be more than happy to feed your pup and help reinforce any training issues you and your pup might be working on.
