Kids Stuff - Cape Peninsula

This initiative started late November 2016 when Mom challenged Ethan to earn his own pocket money in order to purchase his own lego set. We decided to make playdough and to see if we could sell 25 tubs of playdough at R10 each which would allow him to earn enough for his lego set.

We were overwhelmed by the support to assist Ethan in earning his way and have been supported by many families throughout the Valley. Not only are we having fun and bonding by making playdough, but this experience and initiative has taught, and will continue to teach Ethan and Calem incredible lessons and skills.

With a number of requests and suggestions to sell playdough for Christmas stocking fillers, we have decided to open this page in order to market the playdough more effectively. We have also added to the product list and have decided to make products once a week during the school holidays / on weekends for orders.

Through this initiative we hope that the boys will learn how to set goals, how to manage their own finances and how to manage and market their own company. Who knows, perhaps they may even employ friends and kids who would like to earn pocket money too and who will help Kids Corporation become more established over time.
