More about KCC NPO

KCC (Kingdom Consultant Center) is a registered Non-Profit Company focusing on the basic educational needs of children coming from impoverished areas of Rabie Ridge, Ivory Park and Tembisa. (Registration Number 2014/026155/08)

We seek to help everyone who needs it and whom we are able to reach. We want every student to develop into a self-sustaining, self-confident revenue generating, emotionally, mentally and physically stable person who in turn seeks to help others.

We run a Saturday School every weekend where children of all ages are welcomed free of charge. We primarily provide extra Maths and English Lessons to the children, and also when available swimming, driving and soccer lessons. We have our own designed Math curriculum called “Sukses” which is a brain training system. This program allows each student to learn at their own pace, focusing on the basics. The program aims to train the brain and starts off easy, with basic addition, but as the student gains confidence the difficulty level of the exercises increases slowly.

We have +- 5 volunteers weekly (30 on our database), none of whom are teachers, but rather all professionals from different walks of life. These volunteers help on a weekly basis with tutoring. Currently, the majority of
these volunteers are from PwC. We look forward to diversifying and reaching volunteers from other organisations as well.

We use our property in Midrand to conduct all these activities. The address is 71 Terrier Close, Austin View, Midrand.

Volunteers are invited to join any item or all items on the standard programme. This means as a volunteer you could spend anywhere from 1 hour to 5 hours at the school depending on your availability and areas of interest. General guidance we provide is to not over commit, but rather start off with committing maximum 2 Saturdays a month, thereafter deciding on the number of days and number of hours you can commit.
