Katz Academy

Katz Academy is a Christian Home School based on Cambridge education, based at Laerskool Florida. Katz Academy will be providing education to Gr1-Gr7 learners from 2016. Each classroom will be limited to 12 learners per qualified educator. The learners will receive one on one interactive education.

The learners can participate in sport extra murals at Laerskool Florida. This includes sport activities such as athletics, rugby, netball, hockey and cricket. The learners can participate in cultural extra murals such as choir, chess, eisteddfod, and public speaking. These extra murals will be part of Laerskool Florida, at no extra cost. The school will start with Gr1 to Gr7 in 2016 and through the upcoming years the mission will be to grow to include Gr1 to Gr12. Katz Academy is a Home school with a difference. It provides not only an International Cambridge Education, but a Home school where the learners can be part of a sports team while socializing with other children. To experience school on a different level.

At Katz Academy we see each learner as an individual. Even though our main focus is to provide the best education for the learners, it is not our only aim. We strive to prepare each learner to engage with the community respectfully by encouraging critical thinking, in a warm and safe environment. The small classroom environment makes it possible to grasp each learner’s specific needs.
