KARATE PRE – SCHOOL IN RANDPARK RIDGE

INTRODUCTION INTO KARATE - SPORT EQUALS FUN

Parents want to give children every opportunity life offers. Perhaps your child is interested in Martial Art? Karate? But you are scared to enroll your child into a Dojo because you know that it takes longer than 6 months to become Jacky Chan and you already paid for cricket, rugby and tennis equipment? Or your child needs occupational therapy and Karate is recommended as additional support for OT!

Come and join the Karate Pre-school where courses are offered to introduce your child, their friends, or Mom & Dad to the first steps into Karate! The introduction classes will teach the basics of Karate!

The basics include KIHON - basic steps, punches, strikes, kicks, movements. KATA – 1st Kata Heian Shodan and the first steps into KUMITE – training/fighting with a partner!

The benefit of joining our sports facility is very simple. You don’t need to pay for a GI (Karate uniform) to train. Everyone is welcome to join and learn the fundamental basic steps which are vital and needed to proceed with Karate if your child wishes to do so. We teach in a very friendly, loving and disciplined way and concentrate on the child’s needs for attention, coordination and confidence.

We are the stepping stone needed if your child wishes to learn Karate and is not yet sure what to expect or if you are looking for an extra mural activity. Twice a year your child will receive a certificate about their achievements.

Our aim is not only to teach the basics of Karate but also to spark an interest in the culture of martial arts by visiting other Dojos, practicing for small performances using the skills they have been taught and a highlight outing to the Nan Hua Temple located in Cultura Park, a suburb of Bronkhorstpruit, to experience a calm and peaceful environment outside the ‘pressurized life’!

Training times are Monday and Wednesday from 3.15 pm – 4 pm. Space is available for 8 children per class. Please email for further enquiries or contact me via cell phone.

There is always the possibility to join the Dojo in Boskruin or Norscott which I’m affiliated to.The Karate Pre-school is not a JKA registered Dojo, but offers an introduction into JKA Karate.

30% of the income will be donated towards the organisation 'Hello Africa Foundation'!
