Kamagugu Inclusive School

Kamagugu Inclusive School is one of thirty Resource Schools in South Africa enrolling learners with mild to moderate learning barriers, as well as learners in high need of support.

The school currently has 330 learners, mostly with multi-disabilities, and 55 staff members are employed:

- HOD Intermediate Phase: Mr S. Mkhabela
- HOD Senior and Skills Phase: Mrs J.Mhlongo
- HOD Support Phase: Mrs S. Nkosi
- Acting HOD Therapy: Mrs D. Cresswell (Occupational Therapist)
- 28 Teachers
- 2 Occupational Therapists
- 1 Social Worker and 1 counsellor
- Support staff, including class assistants and a hygeniene and toilet assistant, are the absolute backbone of the school.

The learners are divided into different phases:
1. Deaf phase for deaf learners
2. Group 1 - 7 for learners with moderate and mild impairments
3. Support classes for learners in high need of support
4. Skills classes for learners that have completed Group 7
