Julie-Ann’s School of Dance, Qualified and registered at D.A.N.C.E International Dance Association.

Our goal at Julie-Ann’s School of Dance is to teach students to Rise to the potential. We feel that through Dance, students will learn proper Dance technique as well as the importance of hard work, respect, diligence, cooperation and the wonderful feeling of accomplishment.

At the Dance School we do the following Dances:

• FREESTYLE: This includes all dances in a mixed choreography. It includes everything together including Disco, Modern, Hip-Hop. It a great Dance to choose for someone who like different styles. Any music can be fitted in this Dance Style.

• DISCO: This dance style is using a lot of stomach and arm movements with strong stomach muscles. Using up beat music only.

• HIPHOP: This Dance style is very manly its a lot of heavy and sloppy movements almost the same as Street Dancing in a sense. If you like rugged and heavy movements this is the style for you. Hip-Hop music like R&B, will be used for this Dance style.

• ACROBATICS: This Style is for very loose muscles. A lot of bending and moving your body in awkward ways you need extreme tight stomach leg and arm muscles and need to be very Flexible and Supple. Slow and Generous music is used.

• MODERN: This is almost the same as Ballet, you get the fast modern then the slow modern. You use lots of technique and style to do this dancing a lot of balance and neatness is used. Slow music is usually used.

• Student may bring their own music to the Dance and the Dance Choreographer will determine if it can be used.

• Class Fees include all 5 Dance Style..

> Level of Dancers will be determined by my judgment, and graded accordingly. Certificates, Medals and Reports will be given each year when a Dancing Exam is completed and your Child has reached the next Level in her Dance Career. >Your child will be will be Registered and Affiliated to a Dance Association as a Dancer and a Registration Fee will be payable each year for the Registration of your child and a Registration letter will be completed by parent.

>Each year your child will take part in Dance Competitions and Shows. At each Competition there will be Judges who will evaluate and give marks to your child, and from that you know on what your child should improve on. At all competitions your child will stand a chance to win a place (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th) and Trophy's.
