Jiraquip Trading

Gary Furno, founder of Jiraquip in 1999, started his career as a diesel artisan. After working in the Rebuild Centre at Komatsu he joined Barlows, the South African Caterpillar dealer. He worked through the ranks in workshops and sales departments becoming an international salesman prior to starting Jiraquip.

Jiraquip Trading has officially gone into a joint venture with Sparepower. Gary Furno and Fred Sprenzel, the owner of Sparepower, have been business associates and friends for many years. It made sense to work together, each business complementing the other. This has given Jiraquip an excellent platform to supply and service their customers' needs with some of the best experience and expertise in the business.

Jiraquip has a large database of customers. They are experts in procuring earthmoving plant from local clients for export, not only to Africa but all around the world. All logistics are managed; from sites, ports or boarders for export. Importing is another one of Jiraquip's strengths, having gained many satisfied clients in South Africa.
