Johann Haggard and Associates , Architectural Design and Planners started as far back as 1990 when Johann joined the Louis Louw Appostollelis and Bergenthuin partnership as a draughtsman.
During the 8 years that he worked in Joint Venture Partnerships with LLAB they formed a tight bond, both Professionally and Socially and became good friends.
Once he broke away from the LLAB partnership thier professional careers overlapped from time to time and he joined forces with other Architectural partnerships to procure Joint Ventures.
One such Joint venture partnerships produced the alterations and additions to Morningside Private Hospital for Medi-Clinic Holdings in Sandton.


Johann, from the early days, specialized in the narrow niche' market of designing and building very upmarket residences in the northern suburbia of Johannesburg, Sandton, Pretoria and countrywide.

In the Infancy of the Group Housing and Cluster market scene in the late seventies and early eighties, Johann got involved in the design and development of clearly some of the most successful schemes, of which SAN LAMER stands out as one of it's kind in the world.
Johann joined the very successful LLAB partnership on the crest of this wave and enjoyed many joyous years in the partnership. He later ventured out on his own in private practice and produced many Town house developments where he successfully design, documented and supervised no less that 12 developments, totalling an average of between 40 and 225 units each.

Jointly and separately the guys designed and procured some of the most awesome game lodges throughout Africa, Nl,
Waterberg Game Park for the Holiday Club , Private game lodges in the Timbivati , Klaserie , Lissitaba , Vilanculous wildlife sanctuary and Vilanculous mainland

Johann have now semigrated to Cape Town and is steadily establishing himself in the vibrant Western Cape Property development market.



JHA partnership aims to bring some very exiting architecture to the market , spacially in the field of SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE, focussing on GREEN and ENERGY CONSERVATION architecture.
