Jamrock Theatre - Brackenfell

This lovely venue is in the beautiful Western Cape and at the start of the Stellenbosch Wine Route. It is situated in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, in Brackenfell.

Entering the doors of the Jamrock Theatre, the patron encounters and elegant, spacious and welcoming entrance hall with black sparkle tiles and down lighters as well as a ticket office which can be used if needed. This sets the tone for Jamrock Theatre as an elegant theatre.

The theatre itself provides a versatile venue that is suitable for a variety of productions and artists’ needs. The theatre is well planned and equipped to showcase most productions from the single artist to a band to a themed show and small theatre productions.

The Jamrock Theatre is air-conditioned and seats up to 136 people comfortably at tables and up to 150 with seats only. The theatre offers a cash bar and catering can be arranged or patrons can bring their own food. Drinks can be obtained at the cash bar.

The stage, sound, lighting and auditorium with tables and chairs creates a welcoming atmosphere for the patron and artist alike. The auditorium has eight uniquely lighted acoustic panels with individually controlled lighting which creates the sense that the seating area is an extension of the stage. All these factors faciltitate intimate performances and audience participation.
