Ibhubesi Draughting and Design is a mechanical, structural and piping draughting facility, established in the Kwa Zulu-Natal area and relocated to Gauteng. This facility is exactly what you need if you require drawings in any of the above disciplines for a once off type project and do not want to employ a full-time or part time draughtsman, OR if you have a fully equipped drawing office but have additional work over and above your already busy order book and want to get the work done without employing additional manpower.

Although Ibhubesi Draughting and Design was only recently established, this company offers over 25 years of draughting experience in the mechanical, structural and piping disciplines.

Ibhubesi Draughting and Design is committed to dealing with its staff and clients in an ethical manner and guarantees to produce the highest quality of work in the most reasonable time possible. This company undertakes not to participate in any corrupt practices such as unlawful payments, kickbacks and bribes, etc.

Ibhubesi Draughting and Design is committed to the BEE (Black Economic Empowerment) policies currently being implemented in South Africa, is registered as a LEVEL 4 BEE company and is SANAS approved.

The Ibhubesi Draughting and Design office is currently operating from a privately owned dwelling in the Boksburg, Gauteng area. Should any client or site visit be required anywhere in South Africa, we are committed to attend such a visit within 48-72 hours from time of request. We are not bound to only one area and would gladly attend to clients from any other part of the country should the need arise.

All our work is done in AutoCAD and we offer the following services in the mechanical, structural and piping disciplines:

1. Fully comprehensive 3D models that can be used for:

a) Model reviews (The model is shown on a screen or a wall via a projector and is able to orbit through any angle. By doing this, one can get a much clearer picture of what is happening in
and around the plant or equipment).

b) Clash detection (By looking at a 3D model, one can see when there are clashes between steelwork and equipment, something that is not so easy to spot on 2D layouts).

c) Snap shots can be made from any angle of the model which can be used as a cover page for reports or quotations, screen savers and many other uses.

2. General Arrangement drawings and/or fully detailed and dimension-ed 2D drawings with multiple views, references and enlargements. All 2D drawings will have a standard parts list.

3. Plant layouts.

4. ISO’s for pipelines.


All our work is done in accordance with the latest South African Drawing Office Standards SANS 10111-3 and unless otherwise required all drawings will be produced on standard Ibhubesi Draughting and Design drawing sheets. If required, we can produce the drawings in accordance with the client’s drawing office procedures and specifications and on the client’s standard drawing sheets. Copies of these procedures, specifications and drawing sheets must be made available in the event of an order.

Ibhubesi Draughting and Design will be prepared to work closely with the client’s engineers and if the client does not have engineers, we have very reliable engineers contracting to us.

In addition to the above, we also do minor house plans and plans for home extensions and/or alterations. Approval of these plans will be the responsibility of the client. Ibhubesi Draughting and Design can accept this responsibility and can be negotiated in the event of an order.
