Herholdt’s Electrical Wholesalers Bloemfontein

First established in 1974 as “Herholdt’s Electrical Contractors” the main focus of the business was electrification of master building projects like hospitals & libraries until 1989 when the business switched to trading as wholesaler of electrical products.

Owned premises, provides ample parking space for clients. Our Stores (4000 square meters) are stocked with a wide range of electrical products from the various leading brand name suppliers.

Staff consists of more than 40 employees and 5 qualified electricians are there at your disposal for any technical questions you may have.

Our sales staff is a key part of our business and they pride themselves in providing excellent service, technical advice and knowledge of all our products. They are kept up to date with the latest technology and attend product seminars and courses provided by leading electrical manufacturers and suppliers.

We Partner with only the leading brands of electrical product manufacturers to make sure that we offer only the best products at the right price to all our customers throughout the Free State and Lesotho.

We also have a full fleet of delivery vehicles that deliver in Bloemfontein and Lesotho. For all deliveries outside of Bloemfontein we have put transport deals in place with major courier companies to make sure that we can offer a next day delivery service throughout the country from any of our branches in the Free State and Northern Cape.


Herholdt’s Lighting Division

In 1995, the Lighting Division was opened, in adjacent building to Herholdt's building, complete with showroom (250 square meters) and store (1000 square meters) as a separate business –– to cater for
industrial and domestic lighting required in the Free State, Lesotho and Northern Cape.

The competent staff of 20 total 180 years of experience in the lighting industry, run this division with professional advice and lighting layout designs.

Both businesses serve a client base which consist of the general public, businesses, government departments, communication companies, electrical contractors, builders, developers, interior decorators, consultants and architects.
