Herbs-Aplenty

Herbs-Aplenty had its beginnings in 1993 with a small nursery and herb products. Lavender was the rst commercial crop and this soon grew to a variety of crop types being established with an expansion in indigenous South African herbs. A large selection of indigenous herbs as well as other herbs with potentially valuable volatile oil are still in the research stage.
Over the years with extensive R&D the company has grown into a multidisciplinary entity. In 2003, the mother business was unbundled into HERBS-APLENTY (PTY) LTD, CAPE ESSENTIAL OIL SERVICES (PTY) LTD and GOEDGEGEWE FARM. HERBS-APLENTY (PTY) LTD handles the cultivation, nursery, promotion, consultation, training, and marketing. CAPE ESSENTIAL OIL SERVICES (PTY) LTD handles the distillation (with a 500kg still, 2-ton stills and smaller 100kg stills) and related volatile oil activities.
GOEDGEGEWE FARM is the agronomical production unit. With the development of all the facets of the essential oil enterprise business, we have gathered a team of experts and strategic partners that are second to none in innovation, dedication and deliverance. The multi-faceted interaction from the botanical and horticultural aspects of selection
and propagation of the plants, the technical and operational skills for the
distillation/drying, the cultivation and farming skills of growing, combined with the overall managerial and marketing skills could be regarded as our most distinctive competence. In short the true advantage of the company lies in the ability to deliver a total package for the herb industry.
