It is our aim at Henley Nursery school to prepare your child, by means of informal teaching, for the future. We also want to help your child to understand the real meaning of love, especially Gods love. We believe that children need love, a love that expects nothing in return and which is always available. The goal of the Nursery school is the development of the whole child.

That each child will know God as the Creator and Heavenly father. That each child will learn to know the Bible as Gods Word. That each child will develop a growing relationship, based on love, with Jesus Christ as Saviour.

INTELLECTUAL DEVELOPMENT

To encourage independent thinking.
To expand vocabulary and language ability. To increase the child’s span of concentration. To develop a pre-primary school readiness In aspects of reading, writing and arithmetic, through play and observation.

PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT

To improve the child’s co-ordination and balance. To develop healthy eating habits.

EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT

To accept himself as a person with value. To learn how to freely express his feelings. To accept and overcome problems when faced with pressure.

SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT

To encourage the child to develop strong healthy relationships with other children and adults. To learn to have respect and consideration for other people, pets, toys. etc.

CHARACTER

Loving and sharing. Obedience and tidiness. Serving and good manners.
