Hellenic Community of Germiston

The Hellenic Greek community of Germistion provides opportunities for the development of academic abilities, civic involvement, leadership skills and lifelong friendships. The vision for a successful Greek community of the Germistion, involves collaboration, commitment and communication to achieve the high ideals and standards in the development of the community and assist those in it to achieve their best.
The Hellenic Community of Germistion is a group of dedicated community members who support the Greek community of South Africa. Our mission is to serve as advocates for the larger community; enhance the social responsibility & provide personal and professional networking opportunities for our members; increase the interaction and involvement of the Greek community; foster open communication between all other Greek committees whose decisions impact the Greek community of South Africa; create social opportunities that complement those already offered by the community groups; and provide a forum for members to share knowledge to make sound decisions in the best interest of the Greek community. In accomplishing our mission, all members pledge to work in the best interest of the entire Greek community of South Africa to keep our heritage alive.
