The member founders of Helia-D ® Salon Distribution are Mr. and Mrs. Hazafi and their daughter Melinda in 1992. Now, renamed, as Salon Set-up Helia-Distribution, the company supplies thousands of salons with health and skin care products and equipment. Salon Set-up Helia-Distribution is one of the largest distributors for waxes and equipment to beauty salons.

The Health and Beauty Training College was established in 1997 and adopted the philosophy that Beauty Therapy is an ‘Art of Beauty’ that has to be studied, mastered and applied with confidence.

Using resources available to the distribution company the Health and Beauty Training College was established and fulfilling the unique needs of a Professional and technologically advancing health and beauty training college. It is no surprise that Helia-D International was accredited nationally as a Centre of excellence by PAB/SAQA and Council of Higher Education and internationally accredited by ITEC .
