The centre is anchored by a 8,500m² Checkers Hypermarket – which is a first for the Boland – plus a number of supporting line shops and a three-level self storage facility.
The centre’s tenant mix includes 5,500m² of supporting retail stores including, ATMs, a Checkers Liquor store, and two larger nationals offering electronics, homeware and furniture. The smaller stores covers various retail and service categories, such as optometry, cellphones, banking, travel, forex, food, gifting, beauty and discount apparel.
Helderberg Centre provides ample parking space for its shoppers, with good access to both the Strand and Somerset West Markets. High visibility from the N2 highway is an added strength. The centre is supported by six on-grade parking bays per 100 m² of retail area.
