Modern Heathenism is based on the old and ancient belief system of Scandinavia in the Viking era. Also known as Asatru, Theodish or Odinism; heathenry is the only Nordic pagan religion that's got the full potential to reconstruction. And this is what is happening. Across the globe, people are waking up to their true heritage, investigating who and what our ancestors were. The Afrikaner, for one, may also take pride in this heritage.
