Hartmann-Gouws Labour Law Consultants is the brain child of its owner, Jana Hartmann, who previously practiced as an attorney in her own law firm. During her period of practice as attorney, often dealing with various businesses in labour law related issues, it became apparent that a great number of businesses in South Africa are vulnerable in a legal sense, due to a lack of knowledge of the applicable labour- and commercial law principles. The primary cause for this problem was found to be a lack of all the relevant, available facts to properly assess a situation and the need for basic training of both employees and managers in the dynamic of these potential pitfalls. Accordingly, Ms Hartmann launched Hartmann-Gouws Labour Law Consultants. Our main objective is to provide small- and medium sized businesses with full legal, practical and procedural support. Knowledge is and always will be power for anyone who wishes to get ahead in life.
