Harry's Printers, initially called L. Harry & Sons, was started in 1929 by Mohan Harry and his brother, Ramlal, as a way to publish the writings of his father, Lalloo Harry.
The business was started with one hand-held press and from there has grown to the largest commercial printing company in the Eastern Cape.
The company is run by Mohan's son, Vrij Harry. Currently, Harry's Printers has a staff complement of over 150 and operates in East London as well as three other locations: Pretoria, Port Elizabeth and King William's Town.
