Challenge yourself & become a part of history in the making at the Harrismith Mountain Race! It is the oldest trail run in South Africa & has been run by great athletes like Wally Hayward, Bruce Fordyce, Lucky Mia, Marette Filmalter, Annalie Pieterse & many more!

The 15km route has a steep, technical ascent of 676m up One-man's Pass, a run along the top of Platberg Mountain, followed by a decent of Zigzag Pass which will turn your thighs to jelly if the ascent didn't! The views are great & the spirit even more so! You will be very proud to have "Beat the Mountain" when you cross the finish & receive your medal!
